The road beneath the rise: How Max Wrist made a lane of his own

Before the fanbase or the merch, speed was already part of the formula. 

Max Wrist started with BMX bikes, chasing adrenaline on two wheels long before motorcycles entered the picture. When they finally did, he skipped the training wheels entirely.

I started racing BMX bikes as a teenager. I didn’t start riding motorcycles until my late 20s, but when I started, I started fast by buying one of the top superbikes of the time (Honda CBR1000RR).”

The transition from pedal to engine came with a camera in hand and a fresh perspective.

When I started my YouTube channel in 2015 I was the only motorcycle rider posting high speed videos at the time,” Max says. “I gained popularity right away. My first video has over 800,000 views and my second video has over 6 million views. The audience response to my social media presence was astounding so I knew I started something special.

But it didn’t take long for that initial spark to turn into something bigger.

Find your own thing

Max doesn’t credit his success to luck or timing. He points to originality.

“There are a lot of riders copying the same content as they see others doing. You have to come up with a unique style of videos that hasn't been seen before,” he says. “I believe that's why I was so successful from the beginning. I brought a new style of motorcycle videos to the market that people had not seen before.”

That decision – to do something different – became the foundation for everything that followed. It shaped the audience, set the tone, and gave Max a lane of his own.

A homebase for the brand

Speed is central to everything Max does, on the road, online, and in the way he connects with his audience. So when it came to choosing his link-in-bio tool, ease of access mattered.
